Dear Dad,

It’s Father Day’s today, depending on your country, belief, culture, values, family, life…………….will determine how you celebrate or perceive today.

Many today will celebrate alongside their dad, a rare time of the year when they take time out of their busy daily life to delicate a whole day to their father. To thank them for loving and being there for them through thick and thin. To thank them for protecting and supporting them no matter the situation. Remembering all the happy memories they had with their father.

Happy Father’s day.

For some today is just a regular day – commercial day.

For other’s today is a day of remembrance of what they never had, a good father or a father who was not there. The days where they looked around at other kids and their father and then the reality of their father who had died at war, abandoned them, never seen them before – the emptiness.

Regardless of which of the above is closest to you, don’t forgot your main father – God. Who will stand by you on earth and beyond.

Almighty God, my Eternal Father,
from the fullness of my soul I adore You.
I am deeply grateful that You have made me in Your image and likeness,
and that You ever hold me in Your loving embrace.
Direct me to love You with all my heart, with all my soul,
and with my whole mind. Direct me to love all Your children as I love myself.
O, my Father, my soul longs to be united to You, and to rest in You forever.
Have the Holy Spirit touch my soul so that I may love You as He does,
and as Your Beloved Son Jesus does.
