“I could isolate, consciously, little. Everything seemed blurred, yellow-clouded, yielding nothing tangible. Her inept acrostics, maudlin evasions, theopathies—every recollection formed ripples of mysterious meaning. Everything seemed yellowly blurred, illusive, lost” – Vladimir Nabokov

The mystery surrounding the world, life and people is that there is no real true meaning.

No one concept. No one exact answer to the meaning of “world”, “life” and “people”.

We live in a world surrounded by contradiction, grey areas, controversial issues, maybes.

Take for example the below quote:

“We’ve never so vulnerable than when we trust someone – but paradoxically, if we cannot trust, neither can we find love or joy.”

We want people to care about us but we are scared of opening up and getting hurt.

I want someone to say “ I know you” and after I hear those words to feel a sense of relief, happiness and calm within. Knowing I am glad to hear those 4 words and not be scared.  Many would love to just open up and tell someone everything. But it ain’t as easy as it sounds. Life becomes so much better when you decide not to care, yet not to care is one of the hardest thing to do.

Meanings are actually surrounded by a bubble of elusiveness……
